Treason
by Ron Eller©

The reason,
has long since become treason.
Upon the blood-stained mountain top,
huddled in a trench
is what was left behind.
Trembling fingers,
as the terror lingers.
Loyalties forgotten,
allegiance long since strained
by souls surviving, blood-stained.

Once young,
aged by reality
and idealism’s insanity.
Looking for causes more noble
and men more noble than he.
They proclaimed their wars.
Rhetoric for those wishing to be free,
He found his cause,
as the crowd issued its applause.
To this he was enlisted,
so they could wage their wars,
like over-worked whores,
who suck the penises of impotent men.

Crying woe to those who resist
as a most mortal sin.
With reason forgotten
the cause has now become survival.

With one hand wrapped around his weapon,
in the other he clutches his Bible.
Like a schizophrenic reaction,
he has become the epitome
of the world’s insanity,
binding one hand so the other might be free.

With the enemy near
and all reason governed by fear,
he will kill another,
who like he considers only his survival.

Never aware of the stupidity,
one kills the other so he might survive.
The other kills the one so he might be alive.

And to this the politician will decree,
“This is what will make men free.”

The poetry and music are the expression of Ron Eller aka The Senile Bard. These poetic expressions set to music and enhanced by very intricate digital animations have taken their influence from Rap and or Hip Hop. However, because Ron is a sixty year old white man who has the beat and soul of a vanilla ice creme fart. Ron making a significant statement in the rap world of music is about as realistic as a black man from the hood making it big as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof.

Yet in this day and age anything is possible. With a little imagination and the right angle who knows what can happen. Because the poetry and music Ron composes lacks a certain “in yo face attitude” required of a memorable rap artist. “If it isn’t you, play something new,” Ron explains. With that he created his own art form. He called it Jaw©  The name is registered and copy righted as its own brand. Ron’s poetry is edgy and controversial as anything making the wrap scene. Jaw® doesn’t conform to a specific beat but rather is composed  as free verse and is strongly influenced from the poets of the beat generation. Ron being a visual artist as well as strong conceptualist believes this art form Jaw® is natural for artists exploring the word of digital creativity. Any one empowered by a decent laptop and the appropriate creative software can do some exceptionable digital work worthy of recognition. Get a concept, write some lines, make a few well chosen images move, you are on your way to a creative groove.

Jaw® is the next big thing with the burgeoning growth of creative web sites such as Vimeo, Youtube, Flickr Google Video and Tumblr etc. Ron says, “If it has merit people will step up just like they did with rock and roll, blues, punk and wrap music.

The next big thing is Jaw® ya all.
Make it move make it crawl.
Make your machine sing.
Make it dance.
Make it sting.
Do it in your room.
Do it in the hall.
Take it to your bath room stall.
Be bold. Be smart.
You’ve got the heart.
You’ve got the gall.
Kick it cool. You can rule
with a computer and a stool.
The next big thing is Jaw® ya all.
